The Blue Cabin exhibition offered an opportunity to extrapolate some of what had been discovered during its rebuilding. Included were hundreds of artifacts. The diminutive size of these objects requires close scrutiny, engendering a level of intimate reading. Peering through knotholes in boards at one end of the life-sized copy of the framework, an animated diorama is seen. The placement of the spyholes and their points of view act as witnesses to a memory. A scale model of the cabin rocks gently on the waves, as the days and nights cycle through sunsets and sunrises behind it, on the foreshore.
